Coach Ruggiero is in his fourth year as an Assistant Coach with the Laker staff.

• 1968- Graduated from Watertown High School where he lettered in Football, Basketball and Baseball.
• 1972- Earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Studies from Salem State College.
• 1972-75- Assistant Coach at Belmont/Weymouth in Football and Baseball
• 1975- Earned Master's Degree in Administration from Boston State.
• 2003- Earned Master's Degree in Special Education and taught at Berkley Middle School for 5 years where he also coached Destination Imagination to first place finish and went to Globals in Tennessee.
• 2006- Began at AHS as Special Education Coordinator and is in his sixth year.
• Resides in Berkley with his wife Debbie and son Lance
